Some of the top things that really kind of irk me… beware of snap judgements, close minded opinions and general idiocy ahead. More after the jump.
10. People who think that a President is solely responsible for all government, social, and economic forces during an Administration. Come on - government, markets and social forces are above any ONE MAN. Government actions are functions of ALL the people elected to act on our behalf. A president can make singular actions - but so can the other branches of government. It’s called checks and balances you media retards. Oooh, snap opinion judgement. I can do them too. Whatever happened to actual reporting? Or better yet, was there ever such a thing?
9. Belligerent people. If you are looking to pick a fight, then go ram your face against a brick wall and save everyone the trouble of hearing you be a total ass. Seriously, alcohol is the easiest way to turn a nice person into a total dick. If you are a mean drunk, please drink on some train tracks somewhere and pass out.
8. People who do not follow through on their word. I have a friend that is notorious for saying one thing than doing another. Sadly, since we all expect it, we can never count on him. Your word is a bond. A verbal contract almost. And it wastes everyone’s time when someone flakes out. Him included on said time wasting since he has to spend time making up an excuse and all that.
7. People who say that being fat is ok. Being obese is not natural. There are people who do suffer from a genetic fault that makes them more susceptible to weight gain. Are you one of those people? Probably not, since it is a very minisicule number of the population. Here it is plain and simple: If you are obese, you will be miserable and you will die early. That stats are against you on this one. You will be sick more often, have less ability to function in society, and probably will be charged double when you fly to see your parents in Fattyville, USA. Come on people. Being obese is not ok. And you don’t have to be ripped, either. You don’t have to be super fit. But you can be healthy… and it does not take a ton of effort to be healthy. Stop eating McFat’s, drinking Coca-Sugar, and try eating some fruits and veggies every once in a while. Oh and use the damn STAIRS when you need to go between two floors.
6. Men who leer at women. All men glance. But leer? If I could fence, and it was 200 years ago… there would be a few less pervs in the world. …And I would be considered quite the chivalrious gentleman. (Which is to say that I am not now, which is a shame).
5. Parents that refuse to discipline their kids. Spanking is not a crime… idiot children who turn into idiot adults is a crime. Which brings us to:
4. People who lack personal responsibility for their actions. Obviously someone did not learn the lessons of “action equals consequence” from the parents that SHOULD HAVE spanked them for doing wrong. They could have also have learned it in High School physics if they were paying attention. (Newton’s Laws and all that.) …But they were too busy being put down by the system! Oh the poor things have been abused by the system! Quick give them an excuse to act like retards and make more tards to sap the system!
3. People who do not respect life. Every person is a unique individual that this world will never see again. Each individual is shaped by experiences and developed by their reactions to those experiences. Since every reaction and event can be singular in nature, an unique person results. When they die, that life, that string of experiences, is gone forever. Those that do not respect life, should not be a part of society in any form. They are animals and should live as such. Is there an empty land mass we can just ship these people? England was right about something when it came to offloading criminals. We should put them into the space program. No seriously. Free labor for astroid mining.
2. People who do not respect others free will. Who cares if they are gay? Or muslim? Or like to run around their house naked except the lampshade on their head? If it does not impair your free will, then step off. I am a christian that believes in a gay marriage. Why? Because they are people that have the right to make their own choices. My marriage is between me, my wife, and God. The government recognizes me and my wife as a family. Gay people can be a family as well. There is no need to consider santicty of marriage when it comes to government… seperation of church and state, remember. Let them marry. Let them strengthen society through social bonds. Who cares? You? Don’t have any real problems to worry about?
1. People who believe in Political Correctness. One of my favorite quotes: “I have nothing against being nice. Political correctness didn’t invent nice. Political correctness is a mean-spirited Commie plot, if you ask me.” And it is so true. Freedom of speech. I can make fun of fattys just as much as I can make fun of bonesacks. Every culture, religion and practice has stereotypes that we all identify with and all find to be absolutely hilarious. I make fun of myself more than I make fun of anything or anyone else, so the PC crowd can go off and join the drunks on the train tracks. Please. Racism, Sexism, Ageism, and all the other offensive ism’s are waaaaaaaaay overplayed in our world today. Sure they exist, sure they need to be addressed. But satire and humor have their place too. Don’t make the situation ridiculous.
