  • Think I solved my tf2 woes with vista64. Reinstalled directx, turned off excl. sound mode in cp, and disabled multicore in tf2. We’ll see. #

  • BES at the office must have died. No email on the BB. #
  • Been uber stressed this week. Not sure why. Headaches, neck pain, heartburn… stress related symptoms, but not sure why they are happening. #

  • Tf2 still crashing on me. Trying to figure what caused the instability. Is it my comp? Drivers? Apps? Or is it valve? #
  • Heartburn from the night prior usually means more fun the day after. #
  • Things I want rewatch but don’t have the time: the lord of the rings ext cut trilogy, the harry potter series, and the entire run of dr who. #
  • Wired article on the new socialism I thought was ver well done. Good read and felt true… The stigma around the word is the hard part. #
  • Everytime I hear Pogo’s Alice I am entranced for the duration of the song. #
  • If you don’t have an ipod in Denver, you may as well be wearing a sign that says “nonconformist” or “luddite” or “zune was cheaper”. #
  • I wrote an article today about games adapted to the big screen. I was shocked to discover the current tally is 47. With another 100+ in dev. #
  • Out of 47, maybe two or three seemed not to be total flops. Mortal kombat, tomb raider. I think doom made money, but I thought it blew. #
  • Micro blogging is a closer approximation of human thought patterns. Twitter fits the stream of consciousness. #
  • Star trek has to be my fav of the year. I doubt any other movie will surpass that level of awesome. #
  • The one thing that bugged me about the new star trek was engineering. I know the ship is huge, but it felt kind of out of place. #

  • Tf2 feeling a bit off still. Random item system really not sitting well with the community. #
  • Ever wish you could speak a foriegn language just so you could curse about something without fear of reprecussion? #
  • I have heard that french is the best language to commiserate in. Foul language sounds so elegant. #
  • Only a few months old and my bold battery is already starting to suck. Charge goes faster and faster every week. #
  • Tf2 crashes on my box at least once a night. Last night 4 times. I gave up after the last crash. Dammit. 4 must be my limit. #
  • Its easy to get lost on wikipedia. Click one wrong link and you are buried in strange and unusually detailed info. #
  • But wikipedia can’t hold a candle to the detailed geekdom that memory alpha is able to maintain. Or the dedicated bsg wiki. My word. #
  • Brain melting information overload. Your eyeballs pop and stream down your face. I told you not to look at the ark marion! #
  • Just noticed lady next to me on the bus is listening to a ipod touch. Except this one has a screen more cracks than an accident windshield. #
  • How is it even useable? It looks like someone beat it with a ball hammer. #

  • I had to drive the lambo today. The porsche is in the shop and the hummer threw a belt. #howpretentious #

  • Misty morning in denver. Low clouds, little sun. Mordor. #
  • Walking down the mall with wierdos to see. I just saw a goth girl with 10″ platforms on. Looked like she wa walking with cakes on her feet. #
  • Love weather like today. One does not simply walk into mordor. But then the sun came out and ruined the nice weather. #
  • In 20 years the people driving with really loud building shaking bass are going to wonder why they can’t hear their TVs. #
  • I wonder if people ask themselves “is this the logical thing to do or the right thing to do?” As much as I ask myself that very thing. #
  • I always seem to be weighing logic against ethical/moral outcomes. It is like different languages at times. Comparing outcomes is hard. #
  • I think being rational vs being emotional is often confused with logic vs morals. They are not the same. You can have logical emotions. #

  • My father has a degree in sociology and economics. I wonder if interest in social interactions is familial thing. Did I inherit it? #

  • Found out this week that the power plant that star trek was filmed at for the enterprise construction scene was a plant designed by my CO. #
