Finished The Fade by Chris Woodling. Good book… bit harsh on story ordering… think it was done on purpose. #
Starting Lux the Poet by Mark Millar… loved Lonely Werewolf Girl… looking forward to my next sublime and nuanced Millar adventure. #

Mothers day. Irony is to most husbands w/ kids it is actually just a second valentines day. Right? Loving the better half. #

Helped 3 newbs get gold in 2 l4d survival maps last night. I like leading, especially when team likes my leadership and it turns into wins. #
One guy from last night had just bought l4d the day before. Hope he enjoyed his first two golds. #
I have found that more often than not gaming is not about playing the game, but playing the game designers. L4d is a great example. #
You are trying to find the best locations to maximize your chances for longer times, in an arena style match. #
And trying to find an area or location that causes the ai to choke a point or glitch entirely. #
On crane for instance, standing on the ledge glitches the ai for the horde. They have no idea where to run. #
I find that playing glitches has an ethical standard too. some glitches I hate exploiting. I rather play in the spirit of the game intent. #
After using the ledge in crane, you find that playing the rooftop is so much more enjoyable. #
But glitching the tank to fall of the roof. Now that is funny no matter what. #
Hate: sanctimonious bus drivers. Oh the Irony. #
The last tf2 update really broke the game for me. I am not sure why, but it just isn’t enjoyable anymore. Bummer. #
Maybe a bit of break will help. I can ease back into it in a couple weeks or month and just pretend I am a newb. #

Another gold in l4d survival last night. Went 13 mins and fell to a three tank rush with smokers and hunters running about. #
L4d makes you think you are doing a good job and then shits all over you with tanks. #
No tf2 for a few weeks now. The last update left a nasty taste in my mouth. Should play tonight though, cpts night coming up. #
Front teeth hurt. Must have spent all night dreaming I was a beaver. #

The bus mocks me as it pulls away. An evil grin writhed in smoke, not so kindly underlinig my delay with its heavy black malice. #
Something about pianos makes me think they are woefully inefficient in design for playability. The guitar is the opposite I think. #

Traffic should have game elements. Bonuses and rewards for proper action to reinforce proper driving. Missle launchers would help too. #
Played a crapload of l4d survival last night. Have a couple golds under my belt now. Dead air finale still hard, still bronze. #
Some people are clean, some are dirty. The real big distinction is the ones that care about being in either state. #

Change control is mostly an attempt by upper mgmt to justify their existence. #
I push change control, I am viewed as boat rocking heretic. Upper mgmt does it, and it is good mgmt. #
