New Release: Finding Me in the Neverhalls

I have released my next collection of short stories that have appeared right here on this site… all of them in a cleaner, post-blog state. I typically post the rough versions here, and then later on, circle back, update, smooth, and generally make them better! This is my third short story collection, and eighth book, now available at all major retailers in both oversized paperback and digital editions. It is also available at most Digital Lending Libraries!

Sometimes we write because we need to. Sometimes it is to tell a story, sometimes it is to wrestle with something we don’t understand. Sometimes it is because we are merely the conduit of something greater than ourselves. Our connections to stories is what makes us human and our stories shape who we are. The story tellers are the reason we survive. In this collection, a young woman discovers a connection to magic through robbing a bank, ghosts and monsters are rarely the evil we make them out to be, time itself is both our greatest enemy and greatest friend, and death may be the one thing that is guaranteed and he only wants to help, and many more!

New Release: The Lost Are Ours to Seek

This is the first direct sequel to my first book series, The Lines Are Ours to Follow (which was a lot for me to attempt in hindsight & definitely a first effort!) I felt I had something left for one of the characters in the book, hence…

Like many stories, it all starts with a boy lost in the wilds. A forest, tall and majestic, looms above and surrounds. In the distance, birds call, singing songs that Calvin Mason has never heard before. He has arrived in a strange new world, on the frontier of a silent battle that had raged hundreds of years, and amongst the vibrant clash of life and limb, he has to find his own way in the wide world.  A world full of mystery, conflict, and the purest thing of all: the pursuit of something greater. Cal sets out to solve a mystery of how the greatest thinkers of Uan disappeared… as he is pursued by those that would misuse this knowledge for selfishness. Will he succeed where so many have failed? Or will he be another seeker that found only death and more mystery? This is a sequel to The Lines Are Ours to Follow, telling the story from Cal’s point of view as he grows into an adult, and strikes out for his own fortune on Uan.

New Release: PANTHEON

PANTHEON by Sean Robin Hughes

Emma White is on her gap year, at least that is what she tells the customers that are nosy enough to ask. Her priorities are just getting by with her job at the coffee shop, spending time with her loving aunt, and trying to blossom into a functioning adult, whatever the hell that is supposed to mean. Isn’t that what a gap year is supposed to be for? As she is closing up one night, a beautiful stranger invades her life, bringing an ancient power struggle along in her powerful wake. It will take all of Emma’s strength, care, and emotional investment to avoid the end of herself, all she has ever known, and every living thing in the cosmos. The Gods have awakened.

Released on Smashwords ePub/Mobi, Amazon Paperback, Amazon Hardback, and Amazon Kindle formats… (Apple, Barnes & Noble Nook, KOBO, Scribd, etc releases available as well)

They are living creatures, and they come to life on the page, build connections to other stories, and create their own narratives that I am not in control of. In this collection, travel to the unknown with misfits and friends; jump into the life of witch trying to make her way in the big city; monsters and demons interacting with people in ways they never imagined; true love found in the places people rarely look; the far flung future of the human race; and many more!
